BUHARI AGREES IN PRINCIPLE TO HELP PAY WORKERS SALARY ARREARS , MEETS WITH 36 STATE GOVERNOS TOMORROW

Information reaching TMS have confirmed that the president has agreed in principle to offeset the backlog of salaries owed civil servants by the various state government .

The initial plan to retrict the bail out to APC controlled states was said to have been rejected by the president on the grounds that the opposition PDP might capitalise on it to divide the nation, as such a meeting of all state governors is scheduled to hold tomorrow at the presidential villa where the final agreement will be reached on how the monies will be sourced and the repayment terms.
