HOW THE NUMBER 7 DETERMINED WARS, POLITICAL AND SPIRITUAL DESTINIES PART 1

The number 7 have been shaping spiritual and political destinies from time immemorial there are several mysteries about the number seven that are uncovered in this first series of POLITICAL DESTINIES AND THE NUMBER 7.
1. Naaman : The first political figure we will consider is Naaman, he was the equivalent of the present day Chief of Army in Present day Syria “Naaman, captain of the host of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master, and honorable, because by him the Lord had given deliverance unto Syria but he was a Leper

Elisha  told him  to Deep himself 7 times in the Jordan river at the ( 7th )time his leprous skin became like that of a baby (2 kings 5 vs 10-19)

2 . Joshua :was both spiritual and Political Leader of Israel, The bible records that, On the seventh day, they got up at daybreak and marched around the city seven times in the same manner, except that on that day they circled the city seven times" led by 7 priests with 7 trumpets, Joshua 6 1- 17
And suddenly a wall that could accommodate Rahab's  house came Crashing when the number (7) was reached

3. Ahab: The Next Political Figure who benefited from the Number 7 was King Ahab,The drought brought so much suffering making the King to seek help from the prophet. On the  mount Elijah directed his servant to check for any sign of rain.
And it came to pass at the 7th time that he said, Behold there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea like a man hand "1 king 18 vs 41-44 ''
That was how several years of drought disappeared and a Kings political destiny got a new lifeline.
4. Jesus:  had a title of King of the Jews imposed on him, the author of salvation is the most humble man ever, in the life of Jesus we see an uncommon and unique manifestation of the Number 7.
Jesus never needed a number to walk on water, he commands and it happens.
In Mathew 14 13- 21 Seven (7) food items showed up and the first free food restaurant in the world was born.
A boy showed up with 2 Fishes+5 loaves of bread(2+5=7) and 5000 men were fed excluding women and children leaving 12 basket as leftover.
That’s only possible with a God that can fetch water with basket!

5. God: The King of the Whole world is our next Personality, this one is the King of King, and the President of President’s, the one who installs and remove rulers at will. In Gen 2 vs 2 the master rested on the (7th) day and Blessed it.
There must be something special about the 7th that the ancient of days himself chose to rest that day
6. The Shunamite woman: is next on our list, In 2 Kings 4:35 we see how deliverance from death came her sons way when the Number 7 showed up "Then he returned, and walked in the house to and fro; and went up, and stretched himself upon him: and the child sneezed seven times, (7th) and the child opened his eyes"
Was it a coincidence that the Shunamite's woman's son came to life after sneezing 7 times?
7. Samson: was the tormentor in chief of the philistines , he was one of the most politically relevant men in  his time, until Delilah caused the Seven (7) locks on Samson’s Hair to be shaved No one had dominion over him  Judges 16 vs 19 -20. His political empire and relevance disappeared when the seven locks was shaved
8. David : was both Political and spiritual Leader of his Nation, but have you considered how he was chosen? Why did God reject all his brothers? It’s no coincidence that David's father had seven Sons and David was the (7th) and God chose him. . 1 chronicles 2 v 1- 15
9. Enoch: this is another Special personality, He was the 7th Man and it was recorded that he walked with God and guess what, Death had no power over him God took him, he never experienced death!
Gen 5 vs 24   Jude 1 vs 14
10.Nebuchadnezzar : was one of the most powerful political figures of his time he conquered Israel and took the Israelites captive.
Nebuchadnezzar orchestrated his own embarrassment, as if condemning God's servant's to death was not enough he ordered that the furnace be heated 7 times (7th)
When the Number 7 showed up, the furnace was digitally transformed into an Air conditioning system for Shedrack, Meshach and Abednego but same fire consumed those who threw them there Daniel 3 vs 1 -26

SCIENCE AND THE MYSTERY  In  Physics we understand that white light is made up of 7 different  colors in Chemistry the 7 diatomic element(Hydrogen (H2) Nitrogen (N2)Oxygen (O2) Fluorine (F2) Chlorine (Cl2) Iodine (I2) Bromine (Br2) are the reason why the earth can support life, without oxygen the earth will be inhabitable, we get Water from the combination of the Hydrogen and Oxygen (H20), Nitrogen the most essential element  for Plant life amongst several others.

IN PART 2 OF THIS SERIES WE WILL DISCUSS THE QUESTION WHY THE NUMBER 7 IS CRITICALLY IMPORTANT IN POLITICS (ESPECIALLY NIGERIAN POLITICS)

Nevertheless the Number 7 will be of no VALUE  to you if you are not BORN AGAIN!!!!!!

Give your life to Jesus and see God move in your life like never before .Stay blessed !

TOP TEN FOOLISH WAYS NIGERIANS LOOSE MONEY BY OCHE JOSEPH OTORKPA

There are several ways Nigerians loose money on a daily basis , while some are unavoidable others are ,below is a list of the top ten ways Nigerian loose money and why

1.Unnecessary Parties

It is estimated that Lagosian's spend close to 40 billion naira annually on parties alone .

Most analyst have argued that most of these parties are completely unnecessary and most times do not add value to either the host or the guests.

2. Insisting on Designers, Labels, and Brands

From groceries to clothing to prescription drugs, you can save money by choosing an off-brand over a fancy label. And in many cases, you won't sacrifice much in quality. Clever advertising and fancy packaging don't make brand-name products better than lesser-known brands.

For example, generic drugs can cost as much as 80% less than their brand-name alternatives.

3. Shopping at the wrong store
If you are Particular about price then don't just walk into any store , a Bottle of drink at MM2 will cost you almost thrice the amount you buy it at your neighborhood fast food outlet , a supermarket in victoria Island will not sell Gala at the price you get it in Oshodi

4. Paying for "ashoebi" you may Never wear again,

Today, almost all weddings, burials,Birthdays and even naming ceremonies now have a uniforms which organizers use in adding color and or liquidating their guests ! This is one of the Biggest drain pipes in most low income Families who can hardly afford three square meals but are willing to mortgage their 5 months salary for a 2 hours programme!

5. Maintaining a Fleet of Cars
Most people keep a fleet of car to show the world they have arrived , However they fail to realize that their cars start diminishing in value the moment they drove out of the show room . The Insurance ,licensing , and maintenance is an unnecessary expense for a vehicle you drive once in a month!

6. Multiple Girlfriends or Sugar Boys.

Women are wonderful creatures, history is replete with men who died because of women only to have those women become concubines of the men who killed their lovers .
A Man with a retinue of girlfriends will have to Buy Credit for Shade , change wardrobe for Ngozi and pay house rent for Fatima all these add up to keep the young mans account in perpetual red !

In the same vein women are reinventing slavery but this time on a different dimension, they have mastered the act of keeping "Bingos" whose only duty is allegiance to the Bosom of a woman old enough to be their mothers .

One peculiar thing about these "bingos" is the Fact that they have taste as such keeping many "Bingos" sometimes leave a tsunami effect on the bank account !

7. Leaving Your Money in a Low-Interest Account

If you're stashing your cash in a traditional savings account earning next to nothing, you're wasting it. Make sure you're getting the best return on your money. Fix any money you don't need and earn good returns from your bank instead of paying account management fees to a bank which charges you for using your money.

8. Not Pulling the Plug on Electronics

If you use a prepaid meter this is one of the reasons your credits develop wings.
Electronics that have a clock or operate by remote are typical culprits. The obvious way to pull the plug on your energy vampires is to do just that -- pull the plug. Or buy a device to do it for you, such as a Smart Strip Power Strip which will stop drawing electricity when the gadgets are turned off and pay for itself within a few months.

9. Buying at the Wrong time !

This mistake could some times have devastating effect Its is dangerous to Buy a Land or House during dry season because the area might be prune to floods or the Land could be waterlogged .

Building during raining season on the other hand also has some advantages

1. Cost of Building materials especially cement falls

2.Molding Blocks and water supply for concretes works could be made easier especially for those in arid areas

10. Borrower !

Pls Borrow me =N= 500,000 I have a business deal I must close tonight?

Many people have lost millions and made great and wicked enemies just because they choosed to help.

The wisdom here is never lend out an amount you are not willing to forget!

Any business that is too good to be true is too Good to be legal!

PLAY BOY PATHWAY BY OCHE JOSEPH OTORKPA

Junior was thirteen years old, when he had his first sexual intercourse with a neighbor’s daughter Mary, who was 4 years older. From then onwards Junior never looked back as he jumped from one girl to another.
Despite becoming sexually active as a Junior Secondary School II student, Junior’s academic brilliance was a source of great joy to his parents, his performance at Senior Secondary school Certificate Examination (SSCE), was the best in recent times and as the only child of his parents, he received every encouragement and got admitted into the Law Faculty of the Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife, South-west Nigeria. Even as a freshman he continued to maintain his status as Play boy 001, the ultimate chick magnet and the boy every freshman and sophomore wanted to be like. It was a strong belief by most guys on campus that Junior had a “God-given” charm which made him irresistible to any girl regardless of her class.

He graduated from University with good grades and proceeded to the Nigerian Law School. He did very well at law school and then proceeded for the mandatory one year National Youth Service—all these while junior’s lucky streak with the ladies continued.
However, two weeks to his passing out Parade and subsequent move to England for post graduate studies, nemesis came knockingat the door. Junior became ill and was hospitalized for seven days.

He could neither eat nor drink and everyone was terrified at the alarming rate at which he lost weight. At the hospital, the doctor asked to see Junior’s relatives, by this time Junior’s parents had arrived having been informed earlier of his worsening health condition by the corper’s liaison officer (CLO). After spending some time at his bed side, His parents were ushered into the doctor’s office. In the office, the doctor’s major problem was not Junior but his mother who was crying profusely not believing what her eyes had seen, and lamenting the fate that could befall her only child, yet the doctor was about to reveal the mystery behind her son’s ill health.

While similar events have become a characteristic of our generation no one seems to be noticing. Universities and College hostels have been transformed to be mini brothels while “roaming” after school is fast becoming a tradition among secondary or high school students. For peanuts young men are willing to sacrifice their lives on the altar of pleasure, taking on women old enough to be their mothers.
The “Play Boy” syndrome has come to be accepted in most communities as a way of life. While the boys see it as the height of their romantic illusion, the girls are happy to jump at any offer from the ladies man not minding the consequences.
The fact that a play boy and his lieutenants could become victims of HIV/AIDS and STIs, be assaulted by an estranged lover or lose future ability to differentiate between true love and infatuation seem not to be a source of worry, neither does unwanted pregnancy, child birth or abortion which could stop education and eventually lead to a low self esteem appear to deter many.
As the world confronts the challenges of globalisation, the entertainment Industry and a web saturated with explicit sexual content, is increasingly making it difficult for young people to make informed decisions about sex, the media simply encourage young lads to make potentially dangerous decisions completely denying
them of the right to know the consequences of those actions. As T.D Jakes rightly puts it “life will always require us to take risks but we must discern which risk is worth taking and which will short circuit our long term goals for short term pleasure”.
It is important to note that while the expression of one’s sexuality is a normal component of living, control over this natural phenomenon is however an individual decision. This is where Sex Education comes in. But are parents ready to take on the taboo subject?

THE EVIL THAT MEN DO - BY OCHE JOSEPH OTORKPA

THE EVIL THAT MEN DO - BY OTORKPA JOSEPH OCHE

Hajia Maimuna is a caring mother, a good wife, an excellent entrepreneur, and a Gold merchant. On the 5th of August few years ago while travelling to Abuja Nigeria’s capital city, the vehicle she was travelling in was Blocked by dare devil armed robbers disguised as military men who stripped her of all she had; money, gold and precious ornaments. This hard working lady was bruised, battered, raped and dumped by the road side to die.

When Pricillia, a newly recruited banker boarded a tricycle at the close of work, little did she know that the events that would unfold over the next four hours would change her life forever. It was about 7:35 pm when she left the bank after a long day of debiting and crediting accounts, hopping into the next available tricycle.
Mid way into the ride, other passengers alighted at different bus stops leaving Pricillia and the driver. The decisive moment came when the driver on the excuse of avoiding the usually heavy traffic along Douglas road in Owerri, South East Nigeria, took a detour and ended in an obscure location where he raped Pricilla at gun  point, took her mobile phones and disappeared into thick darkness.
Few weeks later Pricillia was at the Federal Medical Center Owerri to complain of the side effects of the drugs she was given as Post Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP) for HIV. That was when
the unimaginable happened. As Pricillia walked away from the pharmacy, she saw a man having a striking resemblance with the fellow who raped her; he was dropping some relatives who had
come to see a patient at the hospital. As she moved closer, she could not believe her eyes; she was standing face to face with the man who took her most priced asset in a cruel and dehumanizing manner. Convinced that she had the right man, she grabbed his shirt and alerted passersby who gathered within minutes.

As Pricillia narrated her ordeal the man denied the accusation insisting he had nothing to do with her predicament and should be excused, that was when she made a statement that stunned the
crowed. She said, “the man who raped me has a big scar on his thigh, so if you show these people your thighs and there is no scar I will
apologize and let you go”
At this point, a larger crowd had gathered but the driver was not willing to pull down his trousers in full glare of the public, until a policeman showed up. When he pulled down his trousers, a loud noise erupted as the crowd descended on the man beating him up mercilessly.
The hidden scar had exposed him as the man who raped an innocent lady on her way back from the office.
Many disciplined and hard working women have innocently fallen prey to the activities of these hoodlums whose appetite for hard drugs and rape of innocent girls and women have continued to defy solutions.
Raped at age nine by a relative and pregnant at 14 Oprah Winfrey, like many others have experienced the wickedness and brutality of our society. Sadly, it’s an environment where blood lines no longer hold. Increasingly, the girl child is becoming an endangered specie as pedophiles’ continue to roam free in our societies terrorizing the lives of our children and stripping them of all the joy and excitement that comes with childhood.
From New Delhi to New York, from Durban to Rio; women and girls are been hunted down by rapists, abused by pedophiles and emotionally decapitated by a society that is becoming increasingly hostile to the womenfolk.

Quote: “we need a deep social revolution that will give more power
to women, and transform relations between women and men at all levels
of society. It is only when `women can speak up, and have a full say in
decisions affecting their lives, that they will be able to truly protect themselves
and their children-against HIV”
